I love body butters and the smell of coconut so was naturally drawn to the Body Shop's Body Butter Coconut which I recently bought while shopping with my daughter.

I couldn't believe how creamy it was and how quickly my skin absorbed it.  My mature skin must have been parched!

The Coconut Body Butter is for  dry to super dry skin so if you have normal or more supple skin, this may be too strong for you.  I try to keep my heels in good condition by using oils, butters and getting regular pedicure's.  When I started using Coconut Body Butter, I'd lather it on my heels after showering and wear a pair of socks around the house.  Once I took my socks off, wow, soft heels and soft feet! 

It really only takes a little of the body butter since it goes a long way.  I can gently rub my fingers across the lotion and rub it in my arms, elbows, legs, feet and heels.  Before going to bed at night, I use oil on my cuticles and then use Coconut Body Butter on my hands.  Going to bed with the gentle smell of coconut on my hands is relaxing and it definitely helps my dry skin.

My hands have been in a lot of cleaning chemicals and water since my move to a new house.  I've done a lot of scrubbing which has dried my hands out even more than usual and while the body butter doesn't perform a miracle, it does help keep my hands supple and feeling soft.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter has cocoa butter, shea butter and is rich in antioxidant Vitamin A & E.  My dry skin easily absorbs the body butter and conditions it.  The price is a little high.  I paid $18 for one 7.0 oz round tub of the body butter but I also got a second body butter (almond) at half price.  They usually have better sales but I wasn't lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

I've found it on amazon.com for $14 and have a feeling I'll buy my next tub from them.

The coconut smell does linger but it's faint.  It reminds me of coconut sunscreen but the fragrance isn't as strong.  I love it.  So does my skin.
