Pros:Heavenly HONEY scent, Moisture Therapy for Dry or Frizzy Hair
Cons:May over moisturize for those with Oily Hair
The Bottom Line: If you love the scent of HONEY, Try IT! If you love soft, moisturized hair, you will love this stuff!
Tantalizing scents can become just as addictive as any other "drug" capable of shooting morphine like elements of pleasure through our senses. This is obviously one of the major trade secrets used by many major companies, [bath & body works, yankee candles, aroma therapy suppliers, etc. etc....] or basically any supplier of the creations that send those heady fragrances through our nostrils to remind us why God gave us those strange looking snouts that stick out from our faces and keep us in awe of the seemingly infinite assortment of odor possibilities that are capable of keeping consumers endlessly shopping their catalogs, shops and online sites. The Body Shop is only one, but a very good one... of those scent sensitive companies. The Body Shop is one extremely powerful dealer for the scent addict and I admit to having paid my dues along with the others who've had the pleasure of experiencing this company's variety of formulas.

Among The Body Shop's potentially addictive shampoos is the Honey Moisturizing Shampoo, a thick and creamy liquid that looks somewhat like lotion instead of shampoo and, after application, lathers mildly instead of wildly. The formula comes in a amber colored plastic container with a flip-up cap. This shampoo is intended for dry, damaged or chemically treated hair that is prone to frizziness or split ends and it is very gentle. What I love even more than the mild lather, though, is the honey scent. This potent aroma of honey has the ability to leave you feeling that you've just taken a honey bath. The scent is wonderful and even Burt's Bees Honey scented products can't compare to this luscious smell.
After using the Honey Moisturizing Shampoo, which I follow up with the Honey Moisture Conditioner, your hair will, indeed, feel amply moisturized and almost as if it's been treated to a deep moisture therapy or hot oil treatment. Besides leaving your hair with a subtle honey scent and treating your tresses to a deep moisturizing, the Honey Moisture Shampoo cleanses, nurtures and nourishes with special organic ingredients that leave your hair soft and shiny. I generally use a blow dryer on my hair after showering and have noticed that, when using the Honey Moisturizing Shampoo, the blow drying doesn't leave my hair nearly as frizzy or frustratingly straw like on the ends. This shampoo doesn't lather up the way some shampoos do, but it does what it's meant to do in a big way. It lifts the dirt from your hair while adding some intense moisture and softness. If you love the scent of Honey and you have split ends or dry, chemically treated hair, this is a excellent shampoo for undoing what overdoing may have done to your hair.

I highly recommend trying The Body Shop's Honey Moisturizing Shampoo if your love the scent of Honey and if your hair is in need of a deep moisture therapy. The aroma is heavenly and the creamy shampoo leaves your hair feeling soft, subtly scented and moisturized. This is definitely for anyone who has dry hair, but I believe your hair will benefit from using this product even if it isn't dry, simply because of the pleasant scent and natural ingredients. This is a must for chemically treated hair and a wonderful experience for any hair type. Follow up with the Honey Moisture Conditioner and your hair will feel the effects of a deep conditioning treatment. If you have oily hair, I wouldn't recommend using this shampoo everyday. But, it would definitely be a nice shampoo to use on occasion. If only for the lasting honey scent, it's a shampoo I believe most anyone will find worth their dollars.
