My Experience
The Body Shops Nut Body Butter is designed for dry skin and during the winter months, my skin fits the dry skin criteria. My shins and arms have been exceedingly dry during these winter months and I have had to slather on all sorts of creams and lotions. Now I use the Nut Body Butter, which does a great job keeping my skin healthy and soft.
The cream-colored body butter is thick like the other Body Shop body butters. It is packaged in a squat tub with a screw-off lid so it is easy to unscrew the lid and retrieve a bit of the heavenly scented body butter. The first time I used it, my husband said I smelled like cookies. The nut scent smells as though it is mingled with vanilla and some hints of cocoa. It smells absolutely delicious!
I use only a little of the body butter because a little goes a long way. The body butter spreads easily on skin and has a fairly quick absorption time, given the thickness of the butter. I find that if I use the perfect amount, my skin doesnt feel greasy. I have accidentally used too much of the body butter and that left my skin a bit greasy (although not as greasy as when Ive used too much of the Mango Body Butter). What I love about the body butter is that it hydrates and moisturizes for hours. I find that my skin is left soft and moisturized for a good part of the day when I apply it in the morning.
My only gripe about the body butters overall is the packaging. It just doesnt look appealing. When I set The Body Shops Body Butters next to my other products, such as my Tutti Dolci Moisturizing Souffle, the body butters squat plastic tub just looks plain. But I cant complain too much because within the plain packaging lies some awesome body butter.
Overall Thoughts
The Body Shops Nut Body Butter is another wonderful body butter in The Body Shops line of butters.
