I tried this product after considering several different reviewers - my sister-in-law used this on her wedding day to make her island skin look heavenly, Jennifer Lopez allegedly demanded a Body Shop store open after hours because she desperately needed a jar for an upcoming premiere and Brooke Burke on E!'s "Rank Show" said this is her secret for the shiny skin that sells her calendars. And you know what? They are absolutely right, this stuff is THE BEST.
This pleasantly scented rich creme comes to you in a flat round plastic jar. It may not seem like much, but a little, a very little goes a long way. I apply it all over to achieve a healthy sheen to my medium complected skin. It also comes to the rescue for those dry, rough elbows and knees. This product is particularly suited for today's bronze/glow make-up trends.
The only drawbacks I can predict are few. I can see where it can feel greasy/oily if overapplied. Also, it's not the most sanitary in application. That is to say, reaching into this jar night after night may invite unwanted residue and/or bacteria from oil on fingers and hands. I can also see where the upfront price of 15.00 may seem like a lot to those that rely on baby oil or sesame seed oil to produce the same shine (at the cost of more oil mind you) for dollars less. There's also the added possibility that there just might not be a Body Shop near you.
All in all, however, I highly recommended this very popular product. It may be used year round to provide rich moisture, and the scents they offer are timeless and non-offensive. BUTTER UP!
