The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick is good for mild acne and I use it for that. Whenever I get a mild breakout I wash my face thoroughly with a mild cleanser and then apply the blemish stick both morning and and night before I go to bed. Within a day or so the acne is either receding or has come to a head and is going away.
It also feels like it's working with a gentle tingling and it doesn't tighten the skin or dry it out like most of the over-the-counter acne preparations. I have sensitive skin and can't buy your regular acne products because they dry out my skin and the acne is still there and sometimes worse.
My acne, even though I'm an adult, is usually more serious and I have to use prescription Retin A or an antibiotic topical lotion. I always keep the blemish stick on hand, though, because it does help with the mild breakouts and I'd recommend it to those who don't have to deal with the more difficult forms of acne.
