This book has all of the information a preteen girl could want. I would say that overall, it is definitely a great book to own if it applies to you (being a girl, and a preteen, that is).  However, I would say that there are some aspects that I would tweak.I But first, the reasons why I would say this book is very good: I think it is very helpful because it covers such a wide range of subjects and even includes stories from real girls their age, so I think this makes the feel of the book more relatable, which is important because this can be a confusing time for girls.  The entire book is well organized by topic, includes helpful details and tips in each section, and addresses not only how to deal with awkward situations, but also how to include your mom and ask for help when its needed, which would definitely count as a pro for parents. However, I feel that some of the illustrations could have been clearer, or more detailed.  I am making this comment only because this book also acts as  guide in some cases, and I think it would be more helpful to visual learners to have the pictures labeled more clearly, since when trying to figure out new things about puberty sometimes worded instructions may not suffice.  All the same, that is my only complaint, so I would rate this book very well, and would encourage anyone who is considering purchasing it to do so!
