I stayed in one of the larger queen rooms overlooking the courtyard. Room 724. I had a small baby with me and they provided a crib (not a pack in play!) and a refrigerator for no additional charge. I had a wardrobe with a drawer and safe and a TV armoire with several drawers and a mini-bar. There were snacks and drinks available, though for a charge (i.e. $6 for Pringles, $3.50 for Snickers, etc) The room was kept in good repair. The A/C worked really well. The bathroom was one of the larger ones - my mother stayed down the hall in 727 (which had a King) and her bathroom was smaller! Nicole in Food Service was very nice. You HAVE to meet Manni, the Doorman. He is AWESOME! Just pray he is there when you are - find him - and he will help you out. Don't bother with conceirge. Only deal with Manni - trust me! He has connections! This hotel is about 30 blocks south of Central Park. One block East and 4-5 blocks south of the Empire State Building. Good food near by --- Black Duke, Blue Smoke. If you don't want to pay $35 for oatmeal and a muffin - head over to the little deli to the south (right of the hotel). There is a store/deli right next door too. Good price - $205 a night for 4 nights. "Country" is a nice place to eat - its in the hotel. They offer a 5 course dinner for $105 each. I recommend it. We dined in the cafe (not the dining room) and still paid nearly $200 (2 people and a baby). Good luck!
