Pros:Amazingly comfortable in nearly any sleeping position. Doesn't lose performance over time.
Cons:Unpleasant plastic odor when new. Very expensive.
The Bottom Line: If you ever experience a stiff neck and shoulders in the morning, you need to try this pillow. (And avoid sleeping on your stomach or non-neutral positions!)
I'm a sleep comfort nut. Nothing is more valuable to me than a restful sleep. I'm already a believer in the Tempurpedic foam mattress as one of the best mattresses you can buy, but I've been looking for a good pillow that is comfortable in nearly any sleep position for my entire life.

I have previously tried numerous types of down and foam pillows, including other Tempurpedic styles. The problem I encountered with down was that after a week of sleeping on a new pillow, the down would compress and no amount of fluffing will ever get the pillow to retain the fullness necessary to hold your head in a neutral position for an entire night. I tried two down pillows stacked, down pillows with foam neck inserts, special down pillows with a combination of down and feathers to retain shape better, etc. While the combination down/feather pillows last a lot longer, they too ultimately go flat.
The foam pillows really aren't much better. The non-Tempur pillows for the most part are garbage. They force your neck to conform to the pillow shape and you wake up sore. The Tempurpedic neck pillows are better, but only if you sleep on your back or side, depending on the model. If you move at all at night (and who doesn't), you risk moving out of the molded cradle and again forcing your neck into an awkward position.
Enter the new Tempurpedic Comfort Pillow. I received this pillow as a Valentine's Day gift from my wife. I guess she knows me pretty well by now, because it's one of the best gifts I've ever received. The pillow is unusually heavy and covered in the traditional Tempurpedic terry knap fabric. The pillow is stuffed with Tempurpedic foam pieces and resembles a down pillow in size and shape.
What makes it different is that the Tempur material gently compresses to fit the shape of your head and neck. The pillow does not force your head into a position to match the shape of the pillow mold, like a traditional foam pillow. It also doesn't give so much as to go flat and drop support for your head and neck entirely, like down. The pillow complements the Tempurpedic mattress perfectly, and now both head and body are able to rest comfortably without unwanted pressure.
I have been getting the best sleep I've ever had in my life with this pillow. The improvement in sleep quality is well worth the expense of this pillow and I would gladly buy another. I've been suffering from daytime sleepiness, a sore neck in the morning, un-restful sleep, lethargy, and stiff shoulders for years. I'm now waking up easily and have no neck pain. I can't think of a better product that improved my quality of life like this for just $100. Certainly not any medication and not any doctor's visit has been this beneficial. (The Tempurpedic mattress is a lot more expensive, so no comparison there!)
If you have a Tempurpedic mattress, you have to get the Tempur comfort for your head as well. The pillow is not a way to compensate for very poor sleep posture such as sleeping on your face and stomach, torquing your neck so your chin touches your shoulders, bending your neck so your ear touches your shoulders, etc. But once you are in any reasonable sleep position , you will sleep comfortably the whole night.
My only regret is that this pillow wasn't available sooner as I could have saved money on the expensive Tempurpedic Neck Pillow that this Comfort Pillow replaced.
