Interesting, yes. But I don't recommend buying a copy, as I feel the author shouldn't profit from slandering the Brontes. But I'd pick it up from the library.
Maddening, oh yes! I read the entire book in a state of righteous indignation. lol
You're absolutely spot on re Jane Austen. Tully would have one of her male relatives dictating Pride and Prejudice to her, I swear. The swine...grrrrr...

and also maddening, as you said so well. I don't blame you for wanting to chuck the book at the point that you did!
I wonder what the author would make of Jane Austen's career. She wasn't known for having a wide range of experience beyond a rather sheltered homelife. So how on earth could she have produced such masterpieces? ;-0 (Grr!...)
