Jeffery Deaver's "The Devil's Teardrop" is a wonderful, suspense-filled masterpiece! Deaver has brought to life 'the Digger' a killer with no concept of right or wrong, and who's only goal is to please the man who tells him things. 'The Digger' is just a poor soul, with the ultimate impressionable mind, who does as he is told, even if that means killing innocent people. "The Devil's Teardrop" is full of twists and turns and even a brief visit by Lincoln Rhyme, Deaver's favorite criminologist. The FBI is ran ragged, as they try to figure out where 'the Digger' will strike, before the next deadline. Deaver throws you a curve, just when you think you have things figured out, he brings about something new. A great addition to Deaver's collection of thrillers.
