vtbubba27's Full Review: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for Xbox 360
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for xbox 360 is one of the most detailed an graphicaly lush games on the xbox 360. This world is huge! Not only is there a wide open landscape to explore, there are over a dozen cities and towns, as well as dozens more caves and dungeons to explore. not to mention that you can delve into "oblivion" a hell like alter dimension found in the game. Within this huge enviroment are hundreds of different characters, all with their own personalities and spoken dialogue.
I think the word to use to describe this game is "vast" because along with the large open world there is to explore, there is a main story line that will take you atleast thirty hours to complete, telling of the search for a lost heir to an empire, and you protecting him form the evil forces trying to take over. Once you have finished that, there are six different guil quests, and dozens more random quests within the world. This game could easily take you 150+ hours to complete, and if you, the expansion titled "The shivering isles" will add another 50 hours of content to hold you over. In terms of bang for you buck, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is where its at.
Combat in the game is great- you can use swords, axes, bows, and magic to defeat your foes. the violence is gristly, and definately warants the M rating it garnered from the ESRB
