Pros: Beautiful artwork on the cards, clear symbolism.
Cons: Not the best deck for divination. Stiff, large cards make shuffling difficult.
The Bottom Line: If you enjoy a fanciful deck for meditation or inner seeking, I highly recommend this set.

The Enchanted Tarot
The Enchanted Tarot was created by Amy Zerner and her partner Monte Farber. This is a deck and book set which is lovely and non-traditional. The deck contains the standard 78 cards. The suits are Swords, Wands, Hearts (Cups,) and Pentacles.
The Book
The hardcover book in this set does not list your regular set of card meanings. This set was created for self-exploration rather than traditional divination. Cards are *described* in three categories. The Dream tells about the characters and activity taking place on the card. The Awakening shows the lesson you should learn from the card. The Enchantment is a ritual you can perform using the card to metaphysically take control of your life. Depending on your needs this book is either completely useless or enlightening. If you want a good deck for readings, this set is not for you. The Instant Tarot reader, by the same authors using a smaller version of this deck would be the preferred choice. If you want the deck and book for meditation and a guide on your spiritual journey, this set could be very helpful.
The Cards
The cards are printed on VERY heavy card stock. Which makes them difficult to shuffle. They are also very large. This too makes them difficult to shuffle. However, they are very beautiful. The artwork is a collage technique. Ms Zerner used fabrics and unusual items to create the original art. This gives variety and visual texture to the cards. The symbolism is easy to relate to the Waite model, however this is a far cry from a Waite deck.
