| eaglekeeper1's Full Review: The First Years 3-In-1 Reclining Feeding Seat 1099 |
If you think you need a highchair think again! With The First Years Infant-to Toddler Seat you can meet all of your feeding needs save space at home or on the go. We received this seat as a gift for our second child. While doing some research on which one to buy, we came across this one. We have another chair of this type for our first child. The versatility of the chair is the main reason why we like it. . It comes with a dishwasher safe two sided tray with letter and numbers for educational fun at mealtime
8 adjustable positions to grow with child:
There is a weight limit on the chair (50 pounds). It has eight adjustable positions 3 reclining, 2 height adjustments, and 3 tray positions. The height adjustment is located on the back of the chair. You can remove the seat by lifting the center tab and push it forward to reposition the seat in the second set of slots hearing a click. There are three positions for the tray. There are two notches on each side for adjusting the tray, remove the tray and it becomes a booster seat that pushes right up to the kitchen table. The three reclining positions are indicated by the raised oval markers on the side of the seat. You can press on the bottom of both reclining tabs at the same time, rotate the seat forward or backwards to slide it into the desired position. You will hear a definite click as it snaps into place.
Provides a space-saving and portable alternative to a high chair:
Instead of taking up floor space you can easily attach it to one of your chairs. Two straps hold the seat to the chair. Always use with a full-size adult chair, with a back. A two buckle, three strap safety belt restraint system will hold your child for a snug comfortable fit. Little assembly is required. Five easy steps and the feeding chair is fully assembled. There is one step that is a permanent step. There are two pieces that snap together and never come apart. It is the seat back and the base of the chair. It is so lightweight that you can take it wherever mealtime may be. The contoured shape of the seat is for secure and comfortable seating at every stage. This comfortable and secure seat reclines for infant meals, and sits upright for toddler meals. In the newborn stage, it can recline to give the child the support they need. The high back offers extra support for younger babies. Remove the tray and it becomes a booster seat that pushes right up to the kitchen table.
Clean up is a snap:
