I spend a lot of time with my 6 month old grandson, Tyler, about fifty hours a week to be exact, so when he started teething I insisted his parents go out and buy him The First Years Cool Triangle Teether. With so many teething rings out on the market, you may be wondering why I insisted on this one in particular. Well, let me explain.
After raising five children of my own, I have tried just about every teething ring that is on the market. Every size, every shape, you name it I probably tried it. After buying all these teething rings, I discovered the one my children seemed to like best is The First Years Cool Triangle Teether, priced at $6.00 at my local grocery store.
The Cool Triangle Teether is rather simple in its design. It measures 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide, small enough for infants to easily hold onto. The handle is made of a hard white plastic that is thin enough for your baby to grasp securely. Attached to the handle is a bright blue triangle made of a soft, but durable plastic. The triangle is filled with sterilized water, so if your child happens to bite a hole in it there's nothing to worry about. Along the edges of the triangle are textured lines that help to soothe your babies teething gums even more.
The Cool Triangle Teether can be used either at room temperature, refrigerated, or even frozen. I have found that both my own children and my grandson enjoy it much better when it is frozen. Tyler will chew on that teether until it has thawed, enjoying every minute! Then I simply wash it off with warm soapy water and return it to the freezer for when it is needed next.
Overall I am extremely pleased with The First Years Cool Triangle Teether. It is small, soothing, reasonably priced, and most important, it really works! So if you have a teething baby I highly recommend getting them their own Cool Triangle Teether!
