I got these infant spoons as part of a gift package for my third child. We started using them when she was four months old and we are still using them and my baby is almost nine months old. I think these spoons are a great value and highly recommend them.
WHAT YOU GET
Our package of 12 spoons came in many colors including purple, orange and red. The spoons are hard plastic and are rigid, not flexible. According to the manufacturer, the spoons are PVC-Free which means they do not contain polyvinyl chloride or phthalates which are harmful. The spoons also fit with feeding bowls, sold separately by the manufacturer.
OUR EXPERIENCE
We have been using these spoons since baby was four months old and she is now almost nine months old. The spoons hold just the right amount of food for babies and we have had no problem feeding our baby with these spoons. The bowl part of the spoon is small and thin enough to fit inside a small baby's mouth. It is also large enough to feed a baby that is almost nine months.
The downside of these spoons for some babies is that there is no rubber on the bowl. My first child use to bite down on the spoon at around 9-12 months while she was teething. The rubber was soothing on her gums and the spoons worked well as teethers. Biting babies won't find as much relief with the hard plastic surface of these spoons.
In the five months we have used them, our spoons have all been through the dishwasher in the silverware rack numerous times and show no signs of wear. Although they are supposedly disposable, you can also use them over and over. Additionally, the spoons have never become stained or warped over time. The manufacturer says you can microwave the spoons, but we have never put ours in the microwave.

PRICE
I just saw a package of 12 spoons on sale for $2. This is a great price compared to other baby spoons on the market. The idea of these spoons is that they are so cheap, they can be disposable. We have actually kept all of ours, although if one fell on the floor of a restaurant, I don't think I would go crawling around to look for it.
FINAL RECOMMENDATION
These are great spoons. They cost less than many others on the market and you get plenty in one package. I like the durability and bright colors. They are also the perfect size for infants. I highly recommend these spoons.
