Must confess they were always a little too obvious although certainly listenable enough. I think this also comes out in your review.

Embrace actually seem to go down better with American listeners, if this site is anything to go by, that they do any Brits I've spoken to, with not too long ago them being ripped apart by the NME(which was actually quite funny), and given that an unhealthy amount of the British record-buying public sees that as the be-all-end-all of musical knowledge, their views go with it.
Personally, I've only ever bothered with this album, and I don't mind it, I think Come Back To What You Know is superb, but on the whole, you seem to like it a lot more, good review though.
