Jekyll and Hyde Club bills itself as "a restaurant and social club for eccentric explorers and mad scientists." This establishment lives up to it! It is an odd but great experience.
The best thing about this establishment is its entertainment. Workers who are apart of the act roam around the different floors. Each floor has a different theme, such as mausoleum and the armory. If possible try to be seated on the first floor (same floor as the entrance). This is where most of the actions take place. If you don't get seated here don't worry, there are plenty of tv sets around the place so you don't miss any action. There is a special show where Mr Hyde makes his appearance about every half an hour. Also look on the walls because many things hanging on them are interactive.
The food isn't as great as the entertainment. Unfortunately they changed their menu recently . Before this change, the food was excellent, however once changed, the menu excluded many of the items most of my friends and I liked. (They got rid of my favorite dish!!!) Due to this we don't really go here anymore but I do recommend people who have never been here to try it just for the atmosphere.
Jekyll and Hyde is also known for their drinks. Since I am under 21 I really cannot tell you about them..... the virgin versions are good and you can drink them in a souvenir glass which you get to keep for a small price. They also boast an international selections of over 200 beers.
This restaurant is suitable for families, friends and couples.
Try and get there before 5 PM since the waiting line can get very long. The wait can be kind of excruciating in the winter since the line begins outside on the sidewalk.
