I just recently finished The Lake House and was a little disappointed with the book overall. I have always been a fan of all of James Patterson's books and, normally, admire his work. From the beginning of this book, however, I had trouble keeping with the story line. It's an unrealistic story. Although I did finish the book, I felt that it wasn't worth the money I paid for it. If you are a die-hard James Patterson fan, you may like it...but I wouldn't recommend it.
