JWitter's Full Review: Nelson Demille - The Lion's Game
If you liked Plum Island you will Love this one. Ex-NYPD cop John Corey is back and is even more brash, sarcastic and funny than before. I actually laughed out loud several times at the jokes he tells through out the book (the one about lawyers and a--holes is great!).
The plot was interesting (terrorism) and if someone were to pull these kind of stunts off the USA would definitely be in a lot of trouble.
DeMille for some reason felt the need to throw in a little romance, which wasn't needed, and I thought entirely unbelievable, but that's why they call it fiction.
Overall it was a great read and an enjoyable way to pass some time. I feel his best book was The Charm School, but this comes in a close second.
