While The Maritime Hotel rooms are lovely, they are extremely noisy. Though padded "buttons" are available in each room to seal the windows, loud traffic noise and sounds from the hotel's outside eatery make sleep nearly unattainable. Also, air conditioning is not always available, so a night's stay can be both hot and noisy. It's a wonderful place in which to dine, drink, and party, but not to sleep.
