Rugged and Sleek Black Mobile Scanner Travel Case
An Accessory for the Neat Mobile Scanner

I purchase the Neat Mobile scanner two years ago and it changed my life from stacks of papers, bills, and a cluttered office into a 21stCentury digital office. It also helped me reduce the number of filing cabinets thereby opening up precious office floor space for other storage cabinets, desks, and water coolers (since there never seems to be enough of those in the work place). The mobile scanner is small and fits nicely inside of brief cases, laptop bags, and purses, but the soft cover bag it comes with has a draw string and will not keep out bits of paper, dirt, and other particles which can ruin the scanner face. Therefore, I purchase the official case and I have not regretted the purchase.

Design & Durability:

The design is simple, a semi hard case that encompasses the mobile scanner. The edges are ridged and will provide a good crush factor for ultra-protection. The material is a black fabric in a synthetic weave and has never caged, does not ever attract lint, and still looks new after two years of use.

It has a zipper opening that splits the log design in half. Both sides are identical with an elastic band to hold the scanner and cords in place during travel. To avoid the cables and other items you might store on one half from scratching the scanner, there is a soft padding piece that floats in the center. The case has one small logo of Neat Co in a rubberized icon, stitched on and does not detract from the  design or interfere with its usage.

Why You Need It:

The Mobile scanner has no coverings for the paper feeder and is highly sensitive to hair, dirt and debris that can scratch the glass lense or just create poor resolution scans thereby defeating the OCR program. It will protect it from getting squashed in your luggage and keep the scanner working properly for years to come.

In the End:

It works because it’s a simple design, basic elements, and a superb functionality. I would highly recommend purchasing the case, not only because it works but because it will be one electronic accessory that you will use for many years. Now that I have recommended the case, go check out the Neat Mobile scanner or desktop version, it is worth the investment for those who are detail oriented with an almost OCD like affinity for organization.
