| phosphor_x's Full Review: The North Face Kazoo |
I have had my blue kazoo for over 5 years now and it still works great. Yes, mine is a little outdated but it still has the same basic design: a light-weight, highly compactible, warm sleeping bag. If it gets wet, it dries out relatively fast. The filling is entirely down, but not so dense as to cause a problem when drying. This bag is not good for hot weather and not good for extremely cold temperatures, but as a general bag, its great. The only problem I had with the bag is tha fact that there is not a whole lot of room. Its understandable since it is designed that way but I still would rather have a for more inches around, but maybe I am picky that way.
As a point of reference I have taken this bag from the high Sierra's to Death Valley, and on 2.5 week long backpack trips to 2 nighters...The bag performed well on all these trips.
