Pros: Great construction, weight
Compacts nice
Keep warm in 30 degree weather (unlike TNF snowshoe)
Cons: None really
The Bottom Line: Get this bag if you like to camp in spring/autumn/summer. I think you have to special order it since most places just carry the normal superlight.

| linkbeat's Full Review: The North Face Superlight Endurance Sleeping Bag |
I purchased my Superlight Endurance in 2001 and have used it on many many camping trips in weather varying from low 30's to mid 90's. After buying (and returning) the North Face Snowshoe I decided that the only way to stay warm in the cold temperatures was to buy a down bag. The Snowshoe (Synthetic 0 degree bag) is NOT a good bag for the cold weather, however the Superlight Endurance is GREAT for cold weather. I use a thermarest pad inside a North Face Perigrine tent for reference.
The quality is just like most TNF bags, excellent quality. The zipper has never once snagged. The bag is lofty, and has maintained it's loftiness over 5 years now. The shell on the Superlight Endurance is not like the normal Superlight. It's the Pertex shell which is what the Solar Flare and Inferno also use. This is a top of the line bag for the 0 degree (they say -5 degree for this bag with the endurance shell) temperature range. I'm extremely pleased with everything about this bag.
The only con, which I don't really see as a con, is that this bag is warm. I've since decided to purchase a Cat's Meow for summer time camping/backpacking since I sweat in the warmer weather in this bag. I guess that says how well it will keep you warm!
The fact that it's down means that if you're going on a river rafting trip and there exists a possibility of getting your bag wet, I suggest going with a synthetic bag instead. Aside from that, you can't go wrong with this bag in winter/spring/autumn. I would suggest something more like the Blue Kazoo or Cat's Meow if you only do warm weather/summer camping.
