My mom... (Reply to this comment)

read this book a few years back and absolutely loved it. I finally read it myself a couple years ago, and I agree it's a wonderful, if very bittersweet, book. It will be interesting to see what happens with the movie. I loved "A Walk to Remember" and then read the book; I thought both were very good but was bowled over by how almost every detail was different. Anyway, nice review!

Ok, I might have to give this one a try. I remember reading "Bridges of..." whatever that title was. I wound up weeping and sobbing over that book and practically swore off of Sparks novels. Perhaps I'll give this one a try, it's been a while since a book has touched me.
Thanks for another great review, I'll bill you for the tissue!

I don't do tear jerkers well, because well I simply do too much tear jerking, but really enjoyed the review, and if I can toughen up, I may give this a try!

I think Sparks has a wonderful ability to get inside the female mind. What a great writer.
This was a great book, glad you enjoyed it.
