I had such high hopes for this book when I first started reading it. It made claims, oh so many claims, wild promises that for me never came true. Paul Scheele claimed to have invented a new way to read, a quantum leap above even standard speed-reading. Well of course I tried it, what did I have to lose?
Well I lost time, I lost patience and eventually I lost all interest in trying the methods in this book. For me Scheele’s techniques were a big dud, though I still wonder whether it was the techniques or the person that was at fault. I think about the scores of PhotoReading books that have been sold and the numbers of contented users exhorting the benefits of PhotoReading on the Internet list serve, I just can’t help but have doubts. I also hear about the numbers of people who needed to take the in-person PhotoReading seminar before they could learn. They kept saying, sometimes the book just isn’t enough, take the seminar.
Maybe at this point you are wondering what PhotoReading is, well try it maybe you will have better luck than me.

As an ending note; I still haven’t completely given up on PhotoReading, the potential benefits are just too high to dismiss it. If anyone out there is a successful PhotoReader then please write me, or write an epinion, either way I would love to hear about your experiences. Thanks.
