Salmon of Doubt is a collection of short stories, articles, speeches, and an unfinished novel that were recovered after Dougas Adam's untimely passing.
What I especially liked about this book was getting to read several interviews that I hadn't previously known about that gave me a few small glimpses into what Douglas' life was like. His sense of humor is present throughout almost all of the contents of the book, and what there was of the unfinished novel was an entertaining read.
It's a bittersweet reminder of Adams' passing before his time. In a way, since much of the book was obtained by hacking into his Macintosh and digging through the files therein, I feel like I'm invading his privacy. The unfinished novel, another Dirk Gently adventure, was more entertaining to me than either of the previous Dirk Gently novels had been, and it's a shame that he didn't get a chance to complete it.
