Look here, Aaron Rayburn has a sweet website! It even has a crappy midi version of the theme from "The Exorcist" as background music!

This review killed me. Now I have to read the book. So thanks.

I do what I can. :-)
you might also seek out the review of MEMOIR OF THE MASSES, which equals, if not surpasses, this one in horridness.

Nearly speechless... (Reply to this comment)

I laughed so hard that I cried. I'd like to challenge anybody who thinks that this ISN'T the worst book ever written...to find something that surpasses it.
Wonderful review, made my night. :)

...Is it bad that I actually want to read the book now?
I am going to have to make a studious attempt to avoid any more reviews like this, because I nearly got busted for being on this site when I should be working, thanks to the strangled giggle noises that I was making.
Fantastic piece of criticism :D

Reading this book was, indeed, a visceral experience. It grossly affected my alimentary canal from both ends. I spent some time switching from clutching the toilet to sitting on it.
It took me 3 days of Imodium and Pepto-bismol to come back to normal.
If you have a lot of stuff inside and can't get it out, read this baby.

Seriously? Where was the editor? Who was the publisher? This CANNOT be real -- but I do believe you, because this kind of travesty is possible in today's world.

Of course! Then I don't have to read any of his books to get the best horrid grammar and style tidbits.
I selfishly had so much fun reading this review that I think I thought I was thinking that I think I would like to have another!
But . . . but . . . but . . . oy vey! I just don't think it's ever gonna happen.
However, if everyone IS still eager for more laughs, check out the other two "reviews" this book received on Amazon. Pay particular attention to the name of the "reviewer" from "California".

You want another Rayburn review?

Why do you hate me?????
Because I selfishly had so much fun reading this review that I think I thought I was thinking that I think I would like to have another!
But I don't hate you, I'm just willing to subject you to literary torture for my own amusement....;)

I think you thought we were thinking that you shouldn't have to read the second book. But you really should. Just imagine the innovations that could fill your lungs!
Plus, we want another Aaron Rayburn review......;)

Aha. That explains it all. Self-publishing is either something good, or truly evil; in any case, it's helping to ruin a lot of my time lately. -- Telynor

No, it was the worst book ever written. Except maybe for his second book. Feel free to read it for me. My stomach's queasy just thinking about it.

No editor. You give AuthorHouse the money, they print it. They don't care what the book is.

I'm sorry you had to waste your time with this drivel. It's a pity you can't get those lost hours back. What I wonder is how in the world did the editor approve this one? -- Telynor

This sounds horrendous. The plot alone sounded incredibly out there, and then the examples of crappy writing...yeesh. The repetitions you cited towards the end were my favorites. Hilarious.
All legitimate writers should rise up against idiots like this, seriously. Excellent, entertaining review.

I guess you didn't like the book! But "the worst book ever written" has to be hyperbole--the worst book you've ever read, perhaps? and not deserving of publication... But overkill can be entertaining, and is in the instance of your review.

you quoted...
"Of all the things to think, he never thought he'd think that."
...truelol... I think I wrote that in third grade.
I think you are just soooooo jealous. It hurts to read someone that can write circles around you, does it not..?? You think you would be used to it here on Epinions . . ..
