If you have gotten bored with The Sims on PC,I reckon it's still worth giving The Sims on Gamecube a shot.I got sick of the PC version(my sister owns it)but I am almost addicted to this one.I think it is a tad harder than the PC game, more challenging. This is a good thing...Without the challenge,we would indeed get bored and feel we are merely playing with dolls.
The game involves a neighbourhood that you can develop further, just as the PC version does. But ,like all good Gamecube games, it also has a game with levals. This one starts off in the home of a grumpy old mother...try to make it to the ultimate dream mansion and start your own family. It's a good challenge, and there are items to be unlocked as you complete goals. The 'grumpy-mother' game is really one you will need a 60 plus memory card for.I am yet to find one.(It is an enjoyable game all the same!!)
I feel like there are quite a few surprises waiting in this game.(I also have reason to believe the grumpy mum is on with Mr.Landgrabb....You will really have to play the game...)
With a weird sore back and an aching and migrainne-y neck,it is sooo great to be able to play this game on the comfort of my couch.(If only ALL games were like that..!)
Building houses is fun once you learn how,(and it isn't that hard)..And creating Sims is really fun. There are a fairly wide choice of clothes,in every colour you can think of.(But not many shoes)
You can also create your Sims face shape, hair style and eyecolour.
(Purchase the vanity table(unlockable)and you will be able to change their hair and make up as often as you feel like!!
Without a memory card ,the beginning of the game can be frustrating as there is a particular scene you must repeat every time you turn the Cube on...
It is a dream sequence, involving the dream house,a spa,and an (apparently) hot member of the opposite sex. When I first got this game,I wondered what the hell I was playing.I thought it might be pornographic or something.
ANYWAY!,make sure your SIM joins their dream person in the spa and that will allow you to play either of the SIMS games...eg; The Grumpy-old-mum version,or the regular version that we all know and love.
Create and control your Sims with new level-based and two-player modes. Or enjoy the classic open-ended gameplay of the original PC game. Customize yo...More at Buy.com Marketplaces
