Pros:Regular Grisham book, added more than just lawyer talk Cons:Long, some dull parts The Bottom Line: This novel puts a new twist on the typical lawyer. It opened my eyes to what some lawyers actually do.
I have a few Grisham novels but my first was The Street Lawyer. I like how this book brings a new twist to the stereotypical lawyer. Bringing a high class, high paid lawyer down to work with the homeless really makes you think. After reading this novel I got a better respect for lawyers. They aren't all greedy and after your money. This book can be a bit dull but only when the legal aspects are fully discussed. If you are not learned in legal jargon it could lose you. But it is worth the time to read it. If you like John Grisham books I would suggest The Runaway Jury. That is also a great book.
