This is a very enjoyable read! It is nice to have all the books in one bind. This edition has all the books and also includes a short story and a interesting and entertaining introduction written by Adams.
The story it self reads well and keeps you going. Being that it is all in one book you can flow seamlessly from one to another. All books are in their entirety and not abridged and it also includes some artwork for each book.
This is a diffrent sort of read and strong with the British humor so it may not be for everyone (but what book is?).
As to the bind it self, it's not the best quality. The pages are quite thin and the leather not to supple. I found that the marker ribbon frayed as soon as I went to use it and i had to cut off the frayed end and add some glue to keep it from unraveling more. Also I noticed that some of the gold on the cover wore off a bit and i didn't mistreat the book at all.
So the story is worth all 5 stars but the quality of the book knocks it down to 4. Though I would still reccomend it as it is nice to have and the added story and introduction is a must have for any Hitchhikers fan.
So grab a towel (you should never be without it) and enjoy a good read. And most important... DON'T PANIC!
