This is ABSOLUTELY my favorite place to eat in San Francisco. Not only is the food quality SUPERB, but the prices are too. I have become a crepe snob and refuse to eat crepes at that other well-known chain crepe place in the city...Ti Couz offers a variety of different ingredients...the other place, not. Ti Couz's crepes are succulent, thin, and soft...the other, has difficult to cut, half burnt, bisqick tasting crepes...Ti Couz offers quality ingredients...the other place...canned olives and bulk cheese.
The crepe menu offers scallops, ratatouille, italian sausage, mushroom w/a delicious mushroom sauce, that great sharp french cheese (help me on this one guys...tastes kind of like a cross between swiss, asiago, and jack, and many, many other ingredients that you can combine. And save room for dessert, because this menu is appealing too. My favorite is a crepe with nutella, french vanilla ice cream, and bananas. And each crepe costs between three to six dollars! They also offer a wonderful french onion soup (with that cheese mmmmm....), huge salads, and have great fresh complimentary bread on the table when you sit down. There is a full bar that offers wine, beer, grappa, pear cider, coffees, teas, ...oh...but no sodas like Pepsi or Sprite...
Once again this is another pack em' all in like sardines San Francisco place, and sometimes you have to scoot your bootie accross your dining neighbors table when you need to get in and out of your seat...but who's to blame Ti Couz...they're really popular.I have been waiting since day one for them to open another restaurant, but no such luck. (they did expand a couple of years ago to seat more) And be prepared for a half hour wait anytime. I don't think they take reservations.
Be prepared to overdo the consumption...the food is quite rich and heavy..and too good to just have one thing.
