Pros:Works, not greasy, does not stain, barely noticeable scent, so many uses
Cons:A bit expensive, worth it when your child is suffering
The Bottom Line: Works quickly, and has more uses then just clearing up foot fungus.
Has your child ever had a fiery red, lumpy, bumpy diaper rash? One that just won't go away? No matter how much wiping, drying, and powdering, you do, the rash will not go away!

Well, my daughter had a rash like this a few years ago, and recently my son has had one too. On both occasions I contacted my pediatrician, and he said, "Use Tinactin Antifungal Athlete's Foot Cream".
Tinactin? Isn't that for athletes foot? Yes, that was my reaction too. But, I can honestly tell you that this works.
The reason it works, is because a warm, moist sock on the foot, is a lot like a warm, moist diaper on a tushy! The rash is basically the same.
The first time my child had this rash, I took her to the doctor, to make sure the rash was nothing serious. This is always a good idea, when you aren't familiar with something, check with your doctor. That is after all what they are there for.
After spending several days at the pool, my son developed a rash. I knew what it was, and started using the Tinactin immediately. His bottom cleared up overnight.

Before applying tolnaftate, wash the affected area and dry thoroughly. Then apply enough medicine to cover the affected area. When you apply this cream, keep in mind that a little goes a long way. Don't pile it on, a thin skim works just fine. Do not use Tinactin Antifungal Athlete's Foot Cream for more then a month. If you have a rash that lasts this long, go see your doctor.
Keep this medicine away from the eyes. If you do get it in your eyes flush with water. If this product is ingested (eaten)seek medical help, call poison control center immediately.
Another use for Tinactin Antifungal Athlete's Foot Cream. Is curing ringworm. My niece developed ringworm on her arm a couple of years ago. Her mother applied Tinactin to her arm every day, several times a day for a few weeks. It did the trick. No more ringworm, no expensive dermatologist's bill.
So, don't be surprised if your doctor tells you to buy some Tinactin Antifungal Athlete's Foot Cream the next time your child gets a diaper rash that won't go away.
