Pros: Soft, workable, long distance
Cons: To much spin, and to expensive
I absolutely love the pro v 1 golf ball! As a advanced golfer, spin matters in every shot! From tee to green it is very important that you have a consistant golf ball. If your a player that doesn't really care about score or the more advanced aspects of golf then don't bother reading this review. The pro v 1 is a soft very compacting golf ball. What I love about it is that people think they need to tee off with a hard ball to get more distance, but with the new pro v 1's they compress off the face of a driver as hard ball would and actually go further. I never use any different ball than the pro v 1, especially in a tournament. When your around the green, you can work the ball very well because of the softness, and the grip the ball already has. It's very easy to back, or side spin a pro v 1 ball. The only bad thing about the ball is that it can spin too much. That in the long run can royally screw a golfer, so watch out for that. Also they are very expensive for a ball so I wouldn't use them if i was a bad golfer so you don't lose them. In closing, I would just say the pro v 1's are not labeled the number one ball in golf for nothing. Their pure, solid, and flat out amazing.
