rocketjess06's Full Review: Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls
This is Titliest's most popular ball, and with good reason. I have used Pro V1 for years. I have probably used about every kind of golf ball in my life at one point or another. In your hand, they don't feel like they would play soft, but I have found that they do. The outer shell is harder than something like a Maxfli Noodle, which is traditionally soft, but I have found it plays just as soft. I also believe they have the best true roll on the greens of any available golf ball. Putting is the one place where I noticeably can tell a difference in the ball I am using every stroke. Distance is comparable with any other ball I have used, but they have the truest feeling of any ball. The downside is, they can run you around $45 per dozen. If you are serious about golf and don't lose many balls, I would definately use a Pro V1, otherwise, stick to something less expensive. I would recommend going out and buying a sleeve before you go for a full dozen. Also, at a lot of retail places or golf courses, you can find used and refurbished Pro V1's. Even the used ones are probably better than the majority of balls you can buy anywhere else.
