Pros:Sounds like a good concept being able to brew two different coffees at once
Cons:Spits water out when brewing, VERY long brewing time, no timer
The Bottom Line: Don't bother. Messy and takes TOO long!
After my Mr. Coffee died, we had to go searching for another coffee pot. We are die hard coffee people, and since it is next to impossible to buy a Bunn coffee maker in Canada, we researched and shopped...in one night(HAD to have something to make coffee). I was frustrated after shopping for 2 hours, so being totally desperate I picked up this Toastess 2 cup dual coffee maker, thinking that it was cheap and will do for the time until we get a really good one. It was on sale for $19.99 regular $39.99 at Canadian Tire. OH WHAT A MISTAKE. Pulled it out of the package, read the booklet and began to do the first set up. Like all coffee makers, rinse and run water through before using. It took over 20 minutes to not even finish running through the brew cycle! I thought that maybe it was because it was brand new, and continued to wait. I had the two mugs in place, waited, and watched. The water indicator is nice and big, easy to see as to not put in too much water. Once it heated, the water that was supposed to drain into the mugs spit half in the cups and half on the counter (it was suposed to land in the cups I imagine) Water also spit out the top were you select one or two cups. If you wanted hot coffee, it also recommends that you run your mug under hot water before using it.

Run away from this one! Sounded like a neat idea, but it DID NOT work for me at all! Might have just got a lemon. I could go to Tim Hortons, order coffee, get back home in less time then waiting for this 2 cup machine to make one!
