Pros: good size screen. Easy menu navigation. All ruined by abismal service
Cons: Awful bracket. outdated maps. big and chuncky. Awful service (what service?)
The Bottom Line: Don't bother with TomTom. There are better products with much better service. In fact you can't get worst service than what TomTom gives.

TomTom probably has the worst custome service I have ever experienced. If you thought Telstra or Panasonic have bad customer service, wait until you experience TomTom. I had a problem with the windscreen bracket where it kept on drooping down until the unit was facing down. It is so bad that I have to dismantle and reinsert the unit almost every 2 minutes so that I could see the map. TomTom have even admitted to the problem on their web site. But to try and get a replacement is like getting blood out of stone. Their service staff will make it as difficult as possible for you to that you give up and let them alone. To make it even more difficult there is no way to make any complaint about their service other than by snail mail to Netherland. On their web site you can send emails to tell them how good they are but if you want to lodge a comment on their service you are instructed to write by letter to bloddy Netherland. And once you have sent you letter half way round the workld, you only get an acknowledement that they have received the mail and that they will contact you within a MAXIMUM of 5 days. Well I send my letter in early November and received an acknowledement within a week. It is now end of mid0february and despite 2 other letters, I am till waiting for the 5 day response. Don't even bother contacting customer support by phone. They make it as difficult as possible to get any repair or replacement until you give up. Having had the junk for a few months now my verdict is that it is an average product from a pathetic company with super pathetic service. Save your sanity and go for something else. Most people who have given this product a high ranking have probably never had to contact tomtom customer service. If they had they I am sure they would give it a much lower rating.
