keenesbeans's Full Review: TomTom ONE LE Car GPS Receiver
As a student with a budget, price played a huge factor in choosing a GPS. This GPS is not the greatest thing, but it gets the job done. I've used it very consistently for over half a year now, whether it's looking for a new shopping center, or looking for a restaurant near my location. The screen is much smaller than I prefer, but for the price, it is well worth it. I've dropped this plenty of times, and it hasn't effected it's performance yet. It also includes many features such as changing the voices (personally, i prefer it off.) , daylight/nighttime colors, shortest distance vs. fastest time, and so on. It has all the basics of a GPS system, no fancy features.
I was told by a sales rep that i could purchase something to include real time traffic reports, i'll probably be adding this onto my GPS soon. Compared to my parent's $250 Garmin, i personally believe this tom tom is better. The only thing better about their Garmin is a bigger screen. ALSO, it is very easy to update the maps on your tom tom and is inexpensive.. All in all.. this is a great product for the people on a budget.
