shadowkos's Full Review: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell for PlayStation 2
This is an excellent addition to the stealth genre. It provides fairly realistic game play by making use of the shadows. The elements provided by its unique lighting adds to the substance of this game. The enemy AI is of average intelligence which is about common responding to sound and each enemies range of vision with these types of games. The weapon usage is fairly fun and impressive. However when it comes to the close combat it is disappointing. There is very limited close combat moves and it is not very exciting. Other than that the game is graphically impressive, the control is pretty easy learn, and the story is only fairly interesting. The actual game play is the appeal for gamers.
