When I first tried this game I assumed this game would be a million times better than all the stealth games combined. Turns out I was dissapointed. I hate to admit but Sly Cooper And The Theivius Racoonus was way better than this. This game was only good in graphics. The gameplay was terrible. In another other stealth games (Metal Gear Solid Series) you have to think quickly to avoid being sighted. You have to use the enviroment to hide from the enemies. If an enemy catches sight of you your heart will literally pound hoping they dont find you as you hide in a closet. The Metal Gear Solid games also featured a very well made story-line which Splinter Cell also lacked. In Splinter Cell, the only way to avoid being spotted by the enemy is by pressing lightly on the control stick. In fact you must press it so lightly to avoid to detection that this game changes from a so called stealth game to a game of patience. Getting this game is a major waste of time and money. The Metal Gear Solid series and even Sly Cooper was better than this. Levels in a game that just feature one stealth mission (Spiderman The Movie Game) has better stealth gameplay than this. If you think this game is even good you have obviously have never played any other stealth game or maybe any other game. Anoher defect in the game is the enemy's artificial intelligence. They are not very smart and only know if you are around by not pressng lightly on the control stick. In the Metal Gear Solid Series their artificial intelligence suprised me. If you are bleading the enemies in Metal Gear will actually follow your blood trail. Also if you sneeze (only happens if you were out in the rain or snow too long) then the enmies in Metal Gear will hear you. Another good feature in Metal Gear is that it makes you think outside the game. Play the game up to where you fight Psycho Mantis and you'll see what i mean. Back to Splinter Cell, botom line is SPLINTER CELL IS HORRIBLE.
