Pros: Sweet, delicate smell, for an expensive price
Cons: There are no accompanying products
On my never ending quest to try new and fun scented body products, my quest has brought me to Tone Exotic Fusions Body Wash. This review is for the Water Lily and Sugar Cane variety in the product line.
Im usually not one for floral scented products, for some reason they are just not my thing. They are too over powering for my nose and for my liking. So when I came across Water Lily scented products I was a bit skeptical. I smell tested in the store and was not over blown by a powerful floral smell, but a sweet light scent. Scents are so hard to describe in words. The sweetness probably comes from the blend of Lily and the sugar cane. The product comes packaged in a 12 oz bottle, with a blue and pink label, it has a flat flip top (great for flipping over to milk the last sweet drops of wash) for easy dispensing.
So whats it like when you get to actually use it in the shower? If you are like me you like your showers, steamy and hot! Well when you pour this wash out the sweet scent envelops the steam and heat causing a great scent all through out the shower and bathroom that lingers for some time afterwards. The body wash itself is a pearly white color, that lathers pretty well. It left my skin feeling revived and moisturized, didnt seem to strip my skin of moisture. And not to mention the scent lingers in a good way after the shower. While getting ready in the morning and for a few hours after the scent stays on your skin, light but albeit there. In fact no one would probably notice it and would just think it was part of your scent via lotion or perfumes. Like I have said before the product has a delicious delicate sweet smell that is not overpowering, nor too flowery. It is definitely exotic as I never knew sugar could have a scent!
The product claims to have a blend of 7 unique moisturizing botanicals including three promoted on the label, such as: Soybean (nutrient rich and smoothing), Jojoba (conditions and moisturizes), and Marshmallow (softens and smoothes). Marshmallow? Odd I know! But I guess it seems to do what it says, not to say Im going to run out and rub fluff all over myself.
Do I want you try this? Yes! If you like scented body products this is for you. If you like myself used to think you could only get good smelling washes from the overpriced body shops, this product is for you! Its economical, long lasting, and smells pretty darn good! I wish they made an accompanying lotion for this.

Tone is put out by the Dial Corporation. www.tonenews.com From what I understand there are three different washes in the product line, Water Lily & Sugar Came, Wild Rose & Coconut, and Tahitian Vanilla & Orchid. In my area I have only seen the Water Lily and Rose washes (CT).
Retail price is about $3.50, but I have seen it on sale in my area for about $2.00. Definitely a must try for the reformed avid user of the expensive bath product store washes.
