etoile's Full Review: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for PlayStation 1

The Create-A-Skater feature is woefully limited in terms of what you can create - there's not even a gender option, all custom skaters are male! (As a female gamer, this was a real disappointment.)
The original Playstation is capable of FMV (full-motion video), so why aren't there any goal movies in this game? I have yet to complete all goals simply because the one-line descriptions aren't enough for me to figure out what I'm supposed to do.
The nice thing about this game, in addition to the added pro skaters, is that you can have more than one skater's career saved into the same memory block. In previous versions you needed a memory block for each skater, but now you can save them all into one. This makes it much easier to get new decks and have them available to all skaters.
