The mascara comes in a black tube with pink writing. It had a little picture of a needle on it and says Two Faced Lash Injection on it. It comes in the Pitch Black color. The net weight of this product is .169 fluid ounces. When you twist off the top, the wand is very thick and big. Two Faced claims that this mascara has 3D lash coating technologywhich forms little tubes around each lash that actually plump and stretch each individual lash, building phenomenal volume and length. It also claims to have a Curling Effect which helps to lift and freezes lashes without a curler. Lash injection is Waterproof and long wearing with zero smudging, streaking or flaking. Ingredients
I love how this mascara is portable. It’s so small and doesn’t take up any room in my purse. I wish other mascara’s came in this size.
I think that the wand of the brush is too big and too thick. I know it’s supposed to make my eyelashes bigger & bolder, but the brush is so thick to the point that is has little clumps in it. I think that if this brush were a little smaller and thinner, it would work better and be less clumpy. When I apply this mascara, sometimes I have to pick or comb little pieces out of my eyelashes. I think that there isn’t much of a curling effect because the brush is so big and bulky you really can’t curl anything.
The waterproof claim is true. I have worn this mascara on many “sad movie” occasions and it did not drip down my face. How do my lashes look once applied and little clumps are taken out? In three words they look Big, Bold & Beautiful! The mascara is pitch black, so it really makes your eyes POP and since the brush is so big, it’s hard to miss your lashes. It seems that every eyelash is completely coated in this stuff so they look big & bold.
So what’s the verdict? I feel like I’m on the fence with this one. The portability is awesome. The brush is a pro & a con. Since it’s big it covers every lash, but I think if it were a tad smaller it would be easier to manuveur around my face and less clumpy. The waterproof claim holds true. It doesn’t really “curl” but definitely makes my lashes stand out in a good way.
For $8.50, I would recommend it, but don’t expect to have clump-less & curly lashes. If you are looking for big & bold, this is for you.
