Pros: Great price, durable
Cons: Driver is a bummer
I have been using these Top-Flite Advance clubs for over a year now. I golf often -- around 3 times a week in the summer, but hardly in the winter. Overall I like the set. Durable and hit great. I have used a LOT worse sets that cost WAY more $$.
Irons - Very nice feel and sound. The grips are decent and the balance feels natural in a moderate swing strength. Hit the sweet spot and watch the ball fly. Easy and smooth feel.
3 and 5 Wood - These clubs are keepers. They both hit very far (200 yards+) with an easy wood swing. Whole face is sweet. 5 has a higher trajectory for tight landings and 3 gets awesome roll like a driver.
Driver - I replaced it after the head broke off. Dont like it much. Same design as the 3 and 5 woods, just larger. Doesnt really feel right off the tee. Get another driver. Just about anythign is better than this one.
Putter - HOT! One-ball with stripes design. Easy to aim, well balanced, hits great off the face without backspin at all. I would certainly buy this putter separately again.
Hybrid - Nice and handy hybrid with heavy rescue-style head. Hits for me like 180-190 yards. Good club to choose when you're "not feeling it" at the time.
Bag - Sporty looking bag. Might be a little TOO stand-out-ish for a cheepy set, byt then again Top Flite has a pretty darn good rep in the industry.
