Pros:Easy to use, can't over water, works
Cons:longevity of soil bag
The Bottom Line: Buy it, you will have tomatoes growing in no time.
I purchased this in the fall of last year, too close to winter. My first batch was going good but then it got too cold. So I started again this spring - the plant is growing huge and has yellow flowers all over it about to grow tomatoes. I am very excited to have fresh tomatoes.

It is very easy to water and still collects water well from rain because of the hole at the top. Planting was simple too, but do have a second person to help hold it while you pour in the dirt and don't be afraid to get dirty yourself. You hold the plant in the bottom while the other person puts in the dirt. You could hang it already to do it with one person but the extra person with their hand inside as you begin to put the dirt in helps to keep the roots from being bunched at the bottom. We started both times with a plant that was already started from Home Depot.
The only down side is the side of the soil bag must have gotten brittle and it ripped, but I patched that with some duct tape and it seems fine. Some people would not find this to be a satisfactory solution because of the appearance with duct tape around the top but my end goal is tomatoes.
