| rayzor120's Full Review: Toro Ccr 2450 Gts Snow Blower |
I purchased my first Toro snow thrower during a winter storm and it did not let me down. Shoveling neighbors watched as it took a couple of pulls to get the beast started. Later starts required only two pulls.
There was a least 8 inches of snow on the ground and more was on the way. I have a 100+ ft two car garage driveway and I was concerned that the small in stature Toro CCR 2450 GTS would be able to clear the whole driveway. The first steps down the driveway were reassuring because it cleaned all the way to the ground and threw the snow a considerable distance away, from that point on the snow on the ground did not have a chance. I was able to clear/clean the driveway and the sidewalk on one tank of gas.
I would and did recommend this snow thrower to friends and family because they wanted to borrow it after I was done. It is nice to see a company "TORO" coming out with new technology(patented paddle blades) to help the consumer with their chores while others Craftsman, Yard Machines and others are sticking to the old screw type snow thrower technology(JUNK). ""Work smarter not harder!"" Who wants old technology? While operating the snow thrower the chute did not clog, I wonder why? Maybe because of the new paddle design.
Yes, the Toro snow thrower might cost a little more than some Craftsman and Yard Machines snow throwers but it is worth every penny.
