dcgradstudent's Full Review: Toshiba 37RV525R 37 in. HDTV LCD TV
We purchased this TV after our old television died. After staring at several TVs of about the same size, we decided to go with the 37" HDTV from Toshiba. We got the 240 Hz. quality, which I absolutely recommend over the previous 120 Hz. versions. This number basically indicates how fast the refresh rate is on the screen, and upgrading to the 240 Hz. makes things much crisper and sharper. The color is outstanding, and watching sports on the TV is phenomenal. You can pay more money and get brands whose commercials appear more on TV, but in terms of pure quality of the picture and sound, this TV is great.
The 37” size fits great in our living room, where the couches are positioned about 20 feet in front of the screen. Jumping up from out previous 26” screen is great, but it fits well in a living room of approximately 400 sq. ft. One of the only problems we have found is that when you want to play a game on a system (we have Wii) you have to unplug your DVD player and hook up the other system. This just makes it cumbersome to go to the back of the TV and constantly be fiddling with wires, but once things are plugged in correctly I have no complaints.
