Pros: Picture is great when bulb is actually working
Cons: Bulbs last 2-6 months - customer service is the worst.
The Bottom Line: Buy a Samsung DLP & don't even think about buying a Toshiba tv.

Have to admit that I am very disappointed with this product. This is by far the largest amount that I have ever spent on a television and it was a very bad decision. This is my 4th Toshiba television - it is also my last. Really a shame each of the other units that I purchased never had a problem and are still going strong.
If it wasn't for the bulbs Toshiba would have a great product. Picture is very good - when the bulb isn't blown. Unfortunately bulbs are junk. Supposed to last 6000-8000 hours. In reality 500 hours would be a stretch. After the first year you are on your own for replacement bulbs at $180 apiece.
Customer service is a joke. For such an expensive item you would expect much more from them especially considering they are unable to make a bulb that last longer than 6 months. Total scam. Someone should start a class action suit against Toshiba. They should be ashamed of themselves treating there consumers this way. Know I'll never buy another product from them. It is really a shame besides the builds it is a very nice tv but with $180 bulbs and poor customer service i'll never be back. The bottom line is they know they made a bad product but they just don't care.
