maybe mine was a lemon

Pros: Worked great for the first 18 months.

Cons: Not reliable after the one year warranty expires.

I got this tv/vcr combo as a gift that was purchased at Costco . I Had this product for approximatley about 18 months when the it just wouldn't turn on one day. I Had it repaired for about $75 by a qualified technician. It worked for about 3 months after that,when all of a sudden it started changing channels on its own, the channel changer refused to work, it would change from channel 3 to "line" change on it's own and at times I couldn't even turn it off. It had a mind of it's own. Very weird.
I vowed not to buy another Toshiba again. Hope your experience
is better and that you don't get a lemon like I did.
