This is a great DVD player!! I own this DVD player, but it says for some reason it's only one disc but the one that I have is 2 disc and has the same model number as this. Ohh well, the special affects from a DVD player is outstanding! The sound is so realistic and I don't even have surround sounds, it's very sharp. Also, the picture is just outstanding, it's clear and you don't have to worry bout the tape breaking or tearing, also there's no hassle with rewinding. The downpoints to a DVD player is that if you decide to go out you can pause it but if you turn the player off you lose your spot, however they usually break it down into 10 or more scenes in the beginning so you can go to the closest place before you left. Also, I hate how DVD's are wide screen. Other than those two features DVD's are amazing and even better when they are set up to surround sounds. It might be a bit expensive but in the long-run it's a good buy. I'm currently waiting for them to invent a DVD player with a built in VHS because I already have so many videos and I can't throw them away otherwise it'll be a waste of a lot of money. So happy shopping peoples!
