Laptop under $1000 too good to be true? No way.

Pros: Affordable, big TFT screen, TV-Out, under $1000, nice hard drive, windows XP
Cons: short battery time, little documentation, lotus suite software
The Bottom Line: A laptop this good at this price is perfect for those who are on a budget and want a good quality product.

This is a nice laptop, it is more powerful than my desktop at almost the same price. Its perfect for someone on a budget, with some bonus features. I don't have a home DVD player, so I use the video out (not S-video though) to watch DVDs on my TV. The touchpad works great, though I use a USB optical mouse instead. Lots of cool buttons for playing media, Internet, etc. XP along with its built-in NIC card makes it easy to network.
On the downside, it comes with little documentation, but it needs little. The Lotus software is fine , but I would of preferred Microsoft or Corel office software. The battery life is short with a little more than 2 hours available.
